Health Issue - S/T 7”

Finland has produced tons of great hardcore acts over the years. But in recent years the scene has exploded and it seems like there’s a new exciting band popping up every other week. HEALTH ISSUES is an integral and vital part of this new scene. While their members may belong to the middle-aged crew, their commitment to hardcore and their local scene is more reminiscent of a teenager with nothing better to do than to stay up too late and obsess over all things core.

After two excellent demos it’s time for HEALTH ISSUES first EP. 8 tracks of HARD, RAW and FAST caveman outbursts. 200% HARDCORE with no intention of being progressive or original. In a review I described their sound as if INFEST would have been released by YOUNGBLOOD RECORDS right around the millennium. Works just as fine as a description for this EP too. They have integrated some hints of oi and old tyme finnish hardcore into their sound as well which makes it even meaner.
