Nordic Folk, Doom and Progressive Metal meet storytelling lyrics on Dun Ringill ’s ambitious concept-album “Where the Old Gods Play - Act 1”. This is the first out of two albums, revolving around Lucia and the story that takes you to the church-ridden Scottish highlands in the early 1900's. To enhance the storytelling, the band choose to increase the intensity of their dark, progressive visions whilst still faithfully incorporating their native nordic folk influences, taking the listener on a menacing dance between light and darkness.
